Robert P. Adams (Bob) has worked in the estate planning and financial services industry since 1987. He serves hundreds of clients in Florida and also assists families in North Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia, Utah, Virginia and Texas. He is the founder of A SafeHarbor, LLC (Certified Senior Advisors), a practice dedicated to serving and educating senior citizens. People come to A SafeHarbor looking for an advocate to work on behalf of them. A SafeHarbor, LLC focuses on a holistic planning approach to address their client's objectives and financial goals. One of the blessings of experience is hindsight. After many years in the industry, we have seen a lot happen in our business and how we serve the public. Bob is currently on the Board of Managers at the Downtown Orlando YMCA Family Center. Former board member of The Gathering/USA (a national faith-based men's ministry), a Deacon at his church, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a member of the Society of Certified Seniors Advisors, a member of the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants, a member of the National Ethics Bureau, Ed Slott Master Elite IRA Advisory Group and a member of National Association of Fixed Annuities. "Bob is happily married to wife, Jessie. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in August 2011. Bob and Jessie have two beautiful married daughters, Carrie, who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and Amy, who lives in Springfield, Virginia who has one son. Bob and Jessie are proud grandparents of two grandsons from each daughter and have been residents of Winter Park, Florida for over 30 years. They are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and a 7+ year veteran of the 6th Grade Boys Sunday School. Bob is a member/brudder of the Park Society, a chapter of the New Caneen Society. He is a decorated Vietnam Veteran and a "Native Texan."
