Dedicated Senior Medical Center is a family-owned primary and specialty care practice committed to delivering superior healthcare to Medicare-eligible seniors. Our patients' word-of-mouth referrals have helped us grow and provide our seniors with greater access to the quality healthcare they deserve.
Dr. Karina Bishop is passionate about helping the senior population and says her favorite part of being a physician is keeping older adults as independent as possible”. She explains, “I empower them to take control of their medical health by making small changes in diet and activity.” She enjoys talking with her patients and listening to their stories. “I get to learn more about their life every visit,” she says. To keep up with the ever-evolving world of medicine, she attends conferences and listens to podcasts. If she could change anything about the current healthcare system, she would lower costs. When not caring for patients, Dr. Bishop can be found biking, gardening, or traveling. She also enjoys cooking.

For Dr. Arvin Esgandanian, the best part of working in healthcare is “talking to patients and getting to know them.” He explains that the best way to build a strong relationship with patients “is for them to get to know me and for me to get to know them.” Rather than only treating symptoms or specific diseases, he aims to treat his patients “as a whole.” If he could change anything about healthcare today, he “would make it so doctors have more time to spend with patients.” When Dr. Esgandanian is not caring for patients, he can be found cycling or reading. “I love reading, and I’m constantly reading the newest articles on the American Academy of Family Physicians and elsewhere,” he explains.
